- Input at the door schedule stage
- Cycle counts, headroom and operator type settled while they are still drawings, which is when changing them is free.
- Rough opening coordination
- Header, jamb detail and backroom confirmed against the doors actually specified, before the steel or the block goes up.
- Electrical and controls coordination
- Operator power, control station locations and safety device runs communicated to the electrician ahead of close-in.
- Delivery to the construction schedule
- We hold doors and install when the openings are ready, rather than storing finished product on an active site.
- Commissioning and handover
- Doors cycled under load, safety devices tested, and the facility team shown how everything works before you hand over the building.
Where commercial door projects go wrong

When should we bring you in?
At the door schedule stage. Cycle counts, headroom and operator type are free to change on a drawing and expensive to change in steel.
Do you work from architect drawings?
Yes, and we will flag conflicts between the schedule and the openings before they get built.
Can you hold doors until the site is ready?
Yes. Finished doors sitting through an active build pick up damage nobody wants to argue about at handover.
Do you handle fire-rated openings?
Yes, including drop testing and the documentation for the file.
Who commissions the doors at the end?
We do. Doors are cycled under load, safety devices tested, and the facility team is walked through before handover.
